Wow, it has been a long time since I posted anything!!
There have been many projects the I have worked on in the last few months, but none as challenging or as fun as this one.
Someone needed some still images to be drawn in chalk. I really had no idea how to do this, but after searching all my references, I came up with something that worked well!
I though that I would post my demo that I sent to my client to see if this is what he was looking for.

ReplyDeleteWell, I did separate some parts of the picture. If I remember correctly, I had about 10 layers, the house structure, the roof, chimney and so on.
There is a effect in After Effects called, Stroke. I can tell it to use the drawings from Photoshop and then animate the start and end times so it looks like it is drawing.

Oh very cool! It reminds me of those sketch pads that you draw with the two knobs!
